Central Valley Spay/Neuter is a collaborative effort of local rescues working together to address the critical issue of animal overpopulation in our region.
We coordinate with local veterinarians to provide low-cost spay, neuter, and vaccination services, making these essential procedures accessible to pet owners throughout the Central Valley.
Supported by County of Fresno and private funding, our program ensures that financial constraints don't prevent responsible pet ownership. Together, we can fix the problem of animal overpopulation—one pet at a time.

Eligibility
Our low-cost spay/neuter services are open to all Fresno County residents, with preference given to residents of unincorporated rural areas.
Who Qualifies?
- All Fresno County residents with pets in need of spay/neuter services
- Priority given to residents of unincorporated rural areas
- Limited to 3 appointments per household
- Cats and dogs of appropriate age and health for surgery
- Pet owners able to provide a modest co-payment

- • Spay or neuter surgery by licensed veterinarians

- • Optional vaccination services at reduced rates
Program Note:
Funding is currently prioritized for residents of unincorporated areas of Fresno County. Appointments will be expanded to other area residents as more funding becomes available.
